(we do not sell one-way tickets from NY to Ithaca. Tickets need to be purchased in New York at the Port Authority bus terminal.)

Collegetown Student Services is pleased to offer TGIF special discounted fares to all students at Cornell University with valid college identification. These fares are available when students travel to New York City, Ridgewood, NJ, Westchester County, and points on Long Island from campus any Friday (1 am bus on Saturday also included) throughout the school semester and return the following Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday (extended for school breaks). CSS does not sell Shortline tickets for passage on any other days; tickets for weekday travel can be purchased at the Downtown Ithaca Bus Terminal.
Important Fare Rules & Restrictions
•Passenger must have valid college identification
•Faculty and other college/university employees are not eligible for these discounts
•TGIF fares can only be purchased from Collegetown Student Services or online at www.shortlinebus.com
•When purchasing a ticket online, student MUST bring the email confirmation (receipt) to our service desk to redeem for bus ticket. Email confirmations will NOT be accepted on the bus.
General Information about our Boston Charter Bus Service for Cornell Students:
CSS and CoachUSA offer special charter bus service to Ludlow and Boston for most Cornell breaks. Tickets typically go on sale a few weeks prior to the
breaks and information will be posted on our website at that time about
specific details of the bus service (i.e., dates, times, costs, etc.). If you are on the email listserve, you will be notified when the tickets go on sale.
If you are not on the listserve and would like to be notified by email when the seats go on sale, you can email csscharters@gmail.com and ask to be added to our Boston Listserve.
Tickets must be purchased, in advance, through this website and buses do sell out so reserve your seat early.
